TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE LIVE!

With more program offerings than ever before, and at our brand new facility, this Off-Season is set to be a game changer. Check out all of our program offerings below, in all aspects of the game and for all ages!

Complete Pitchers Program

The Complete Pitchers Program (CPP) is a 16 week intensive pitching program ran by Kevin Walsh and Zach Jakubowsky. CPP is a professionally designed return to throwing program, increasing in frequency and intensity over a 16-week period preparing the arm and the pitcher for a highly competitive season.

All Off-Season Program participants are required to purchase a Northstar Performance membership for the duration of the program (16 weeks). Players will have the choice between a 1x/week membership (10% OFF standard price) or an Unlimited Membership (20% OFF standard price).

Elite Hitters Program

The Elite Hitters Program is a 16 week intensive hitting program designed around a collegiate and professional style program. Due to the regular attendance and progression of the program, players are able to make sustainable changes and acquire skills to self correct with swing and approach adjustments in season. All program evaluations and sessions are designed by coach Mike Kvasnicka and executed by Max Weesner and Hunter Foss with the help of additional seasonal staff members.

All Off-Season Program participants are required to purchase a Northstar Performance membership for the duration of the program (16 weeks). Players will have the choice between a 1x/week membership (10% OFF standard price) or an Unlimited Membership (20% OFF standard price).

Rookie Program

New to GRB Northstar is our Rookie Program. Designed and executed by Mike Kvasnicka, our youth athletes, ages 8u - 12u, will participate in an 8 week program starting in January 2025 that focuses on hitting, pitching, and defense. This all encompassing program is focised on the foundational movements to set up our athletes for success for years to come.

Rookie Program Registration

Catching Program

Catchers will work on a variety of skills ranging from receiving, blocking, throwing, and more over the course of 6 weeeks in January and February. They will be put to the test by mastering the basics of these areas of catching by being put through a progressive program detailing the ins and outs of the skills behind the dish. Our catching program is designed and executed by Max Weesner with the help of Pittsburg Pirates MiLB catcher, Eli Wilson.

Times:

Fielding Program

We will host a 4 week fielding program on Saturdays starting in February with the purpose of instilling fundamental parts of our game that go underdeveloped. Our athletes will go through footwork, glove, and throwing progressions with Mike Kvasnicka along with help from other Northstrar Alumni and current collegiate baseball players! Our fielding programs will be open to all HS athletes and invited youth athletes.

Performance Training

Upon registering for our Winter Programs, each athlete will be required to enroll in our Performance Program as well - mirroring the duration of the baseball training programs (Nov. 11 - March 16). Athletes will be able to select a 1x/week option (10% OFF standard Performance package pricing) or an Unlimited option (20% OFF standard Performance package pricing). These Performance classes are offered 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm, Monday - Friday with select Saturday and Sunday time slots as well.

We believe that when it comes to total athletic performance in any sport, building the athlete as a whole is just as important as building individual sports specific skills. Partnering that concept with the longlasting lifestyle benefits of exercise, nutrition, and recovery - the way we approach performance training aims to equip young athletes with healthy long term habits in addition to helping them acheive their athletic and performance goals.
